Adrian Martinez expects Nebraska-Michigan to be better contest than 2018: 'We were physically outmatched'
The last time Michigan played Nebraska, the Wolverines dominated in a 56-10 win.
That was Adrian Martinez’s freshman year, and he hasn’t forgotten that game. He took over for Andrew Bunch and completed 7 of 15 passes for just 22 yards in that matchup.
Now a senior, Martinez is getting ready to face the Wolverines again this week. This time, he’s going to do his best not to get “smacked” like he did last time.
Adrian Martinez says Nebraska was “physically outmatched” against Michigan in 2018. Martinez feels differently now; #huskers are “top down” better.

What's Martinez remember from that 2018 game at Michigan?
"Well, I remember getting smacked."

Martinez looks like he’s finding a groove in the Nebraska offense and looked great against Northwestern last week. He had 4 touchdowns — 3 rushing and 1 passing — while going 11-for-17 passing for 202 yards in the air. But he’ll have a tough task against a staunch Michigan defense this week in Lincoln.
One thing’s for sure, though. He’s grown tremendously since the last time he played Jim Harbaugh’s Wolverines.
