Adrian Martinez on Nebraska fans: 'It means more out here, they truly love the players'
Adrian Martinez was Scott Frost’s first true target once he got to Nebraska.
History has shown — even though it has only been one season — that it has worked out so far. The best is yet to come for the sophomore signal-caller, who by Frost’s words, is the leader of the team.

Martinez may only be going into his second year of college, but he appears to truly be the leader in Lincoln. He walks the walk and talks the talk.
On Friday, he appeared on Jim Rome’s show and was asked about a few different things. One was about the fans at Nebraska and just how much the fans love Husker football and the Husker players.
Note: Martinez begins talking about the fans at the 0:55 mark.

“It’s hard to. It’s unlike anything I’ve ever experienced. Like you said, coming from California, It is just different. It means more out here and they truly love the players and the game of football. It is something I am very thankful to be a part of. And just the hospitality, the people out here are amazing. I’m just real thankful to be here and be a part of it.”
Martinez and the Huskers will be in action once again this fall starting on Aug. 31 when the team hosts South Alabama.
