Adrian Martinez weighs in on Scott Frost's firing at Nebraska
Adrian Martinez talked about his thoughts on the Scott Frost situation after the head coach was fired from Nebraska. Martinez hopes that Frost lands on his feet per Riley Gates of 247Sports.
Martinez played for Frost from 2018-2021 before transferring to Kansas State in December of 2021. He had 8,491 career yards passing with 80 total touchdowns as a Husker. Martinez wants the best for his former head coach and mentor.
Still a lot of people there that I care for a lot and you hate to see a man lose his job, regardless. So, you know, thoughts with him and thoughts with the guys and the coaches and all the support staff that are there, because many people are misplaced in this type of thing. You pray for their families and you hope things end up OK.
So far at Kansas State, Martinez has 157 yards passing. The Wildcats are 2-0 after wins over South Dakota and Missouri in back-to-back weeks.
