After another heartbreaking loss, Nebraska players still looking to 'find ways to finish'
Nebraska may have suffered a blowout loss in their first game against Ohio State, but today’s loss hurt a lot more as they fell 21-13 to Northwestern. Nebraska had a 13-7 lead going into halftime before being completely shut out in the second half.
The Cornhuskers dropped to 0-2 on the season and the players are, as anyone would expect, not in a great mood.
Here is what some of the players had to say after this week’s loss.
Bootle: "A loss like this can either split a team or bring it together."
Yeah, it's real, real quick for Nebraska.

Bootle: "We've just got to find ways to win. Find ways to finish it."

Allen said Nebraska calls it the "Clutch Period" when it does a 2-minute drill.

Luke Reimer: "This one hurt. This one hurt for sure."
Describes "somber mood."

Dicaprio Bootle was one of the Cornhuskers’ best players on defense today as he had five tackles (3 solo). Luke Reimer was also outstanding as he had 10 tackles (seven solo) with a sack and a forced fumble.
On the other hand, Nebraska didn’t get nearly enough from quarterback Adrian Martinez today. He went 12/127 for 125 yards with no passing touchdowns and an interception. He needs to be a lot better if they’re going to win some games moving forward.
Nebraska’s next game will be next Saturday at Noon ET against Penn State. The game will be shown on FS1.
