Ahman Green, Nebraska RB legend, gives one thing he wants to see from Huskers in 2022
Ahman Green knows what it’s like to be a Husker and to represent Go Big Red at Nebraska. The third-leading rusher in program history, Green went on to have a very successful career in the NFL.
Recently, Green made an appearance with College Sports on SiriusXM to discuss expectations for the upcoming 2022 season and the opener against Northwestern.

When it comes down to it, Green is really just hoping to see a never-quit attitude on the field:
“The only thing I want to see is effort… I just want to see guys play hard and give it all they’ve got for 4 quarters,” explained Green. “I don’t want to see a team shut down and quit when it’s first quarter, second quarter, things like that. Which, unfortunately, we’ve experienced that as Husker fans.”
At Barstool, you can bet $10, get $100 if either Nebraska or Northwestern score a point in this game.

Hopefully, Green and Husker fans see a disciplined and hungry effort out of Nebraska on Saturday. It will be interesting to see how the season shapes up with Scott Frost likely coaching to keep his job in 2022.
