The Vrbo Citrus Bowl was going to a tough battle between two ground-and-pound teams between No. 15 Iowa and No. 22 Kentucky. Iowa took the lead in the fourth quarter and held on through the majority of the quarter.

Kentucky was quickly driving the ball down the field and was getting the small yardage plays until former Nebraska wide receiver Wan’Dale Robinson caught a short pass from quarterback Will Levis and ran it for a 52-yard passing play.

That play would help set up a six-yard touchdown run from running back Chris Rodrigeuz Jr. to put Kentucky up 20-17. Iowa would have one more chance to make a scoring drive, but an interception from Iowa quarterback Spencer Petras in Kentucky territory would ruin any chance for a comeback. That was Petras’ third interception of the game.

Robinson had a standout game as he caught 10 receptions for 170 yards, with his longest play being the 52-yard play.
