Another B1G basketball game has been shelved for the time being with Nebraska announcing a pause to team activities on Monday evening.
According to the release by Nebraska, the pause comes due to testing results related to Tier 1 personnel. Tier 1 personnel is classified as student-athletes, coaches, and any staff member who’s job requires consistent close contact.
With the pause of activities comes the postponement of Wednesday’s game against Illinois:

The two schools will work with the conference to reschedule the game down the road.
Fortunately, the release indicates that there has been no decision made on Nebraska games past Jan. 13, which was the date for the Illinois game. For now, Nebraska’s next game is scheduled to be this Saturday, Jan. 16 at Maryland.
Illinois, coming off of an upset loss to Maryland, is set to play against Ohio State in Champaign on Saturday.
This season has already been a rough one for the Huskers with Fred Hoiberg’s squad winless in conference play at 0-5. Hopefully Nebraska returns to action as soon as possible.
