Anthony Grant has been a bright spot for Nebraska so far this season. His play has forced Nebraska to make some changes to the running back depth chart per Luke Millin of the Lincoln Journal Star

Grant has rushed for 100+ yards in 2 games for the Cornhuskers and is now listed as the sole starter on the depth chart. He was previously listed as an “OR” along with 4 players on the depth chart. Ajay Allen, Gabe Ervin Jr., Rahmir Johnson, and Jaquez Yant are now all listed as “OR” for the No. 2 spot on the depth chart.

Grant transferred to Nebraska after playing at Florida State (2018-2019) and the New Mexico Military Institute (2020-2021) at the JUCO level. He currently has 4 rushing touchdowns and 290 yards rushing so far.

If he keeps this up, there’s no reason that he shouldn’t surpass 1,000 yards rushing this season. We’ll see if he can keep up his production against Georgia Southern on Saturday.
