Anthony Grant's hot start vs. Minnesota is firing up Husker faithful
Anthony Grant was shot out of a cannon in the first half. He opened up the game with over 50 yards rushing on just 10 carries.
Grant needed to step up his game after Casey Thompson was not starting at QB. He was a big part of the Nebraska’s opening TD drive.
Nebraska fans on social media reacted accordingly to Grant’s great start to the game. In Grant’s last three games he had not gotten over 100 yards rushing, but it looks like that might be on cards for this game.
Grant leads the Nebraska backfield with 743 yards rushing heading into the game. Grant has played in every game for the Huskers this season, and rightfully so with plays like this.
Nebraska is starting to wear down the Minnesota defense with the run game in Lincoln so far. Here’s how Nebraska fans reacted to Grant’s start early in the game:

Anthony Grant looks good. Who picked him as a key to the game? Oh yeah that was me (I know it’s an easy pick)
