Arnold Barnes officially committed to a B1G program on Tuesday. He’ll be spending this college days in Lincoln, Nebraska.

Barnes announced his decision with a video of him on social media. The post had a bunch of highlights of him tearing it up on the ground.

Barnes is a 3-star RB per the 247Sports Composite. He picked Nebraska over Iowa, Tulane, Charlotte, and Idaho. He is the 80th-ranked RB and 41st-ranked player from his home state of Louisiana.

247Sports has Barnes listed at 5-foot-9, 224 pounds. Barnes is Mickey Joseph’s 15th commit from the 2023 class. He attends KIPP Booker T. Washington in New Orleans, Louisiana.

Anthony Grant is looking like he’s going to be a star in the Nebraska backfield. Maybe Grant’s rise to stardom played a factor in getting Barnes to commit to the Huskers.
