Ashley Williams, 4-star Edge prospect and former Nebraska pledge, reveals new commitment
Ashley Williams is a 4-star Edge prospect and was 1 of 3 4-star players committed to Nebraska for the class of 2023. Committed by Mickey Joseph and Bryan Applewhite, Williams originally committed to the Huskers on July 10.
Unfortunately, Williams reopened his commitment 21 days later after visiting an SEC West program. Williams made his new commitment official Wednesday, announcing he is pledged to Bryan Harsin and Auburn for the class of 2023.

According to the 247 Sports Composite Rankings, Williams is a 4-star prospect and the No. 37 Edge prospect in the country for the class of 2023.
Williams was initially a key piece to Nebraska’s recruiting class out of Louisiana. Getting Williams to recommit to the Huskers was always a longshot after he reopened his recruitment, but the loss still stings for Scott Frost’s recruiting class.
