Back-to-back picks: Cam Taylor-Britt, Deontai Williams come up with huge INTs for Nebraska's defense
In the first half, the offense for the Minnesota Golden Gophers had a huge performance by accounting for three passing touchdowns. Minnesota quarterback Tanner Morgan scored two passing touchdowns and only one incompletion against the defense of Nebraska.
After halftime, Nebraska is starting to find some efficiency on the defensive side of the ball. In the first drive of the second half for Minnesota, Morgan threw a pass to redshirt sophomore Mike Brown-Stephens on a vertical route. Nebraska junior cornerback Cam Taylor-Britt eventually chased down his assigned man and dove for an interception in the end zone.
Tanner Morgan had completed 16 straight passes.
