Bill Busch, Nebraska’s interim defensive coordinator, is expecting a scruffy matchup with Rutgers on Friday. Both teams have had forgettable starts to the season and are looking to come out with a big conference win.

Busch isn’t shying away from the fight, however, he is ready to embrace the challenges that Rutgers presents head on.

“We got a really, really big man’s fight this next Friday night,” Busch said according to Omaha World-Herald. “Everybody says you gotta be the toughest team on the field, but you turn their film on, that’s who they are. We have our our hands full and that’s what we’re preparing for.”

Nebraska is coming off its first win under its new coaching staff against Indiana, while Rutgers looks to shake off the loss against Ohio State.

Busch’s defense did well in shutting down the Indiana running game last week in his interim DC debut. Nebraska held Indiana to 67 total yards rushing as a team.
