Bill Busch will have his first game as interim DC against Indiana on Saturday. He talked about how Nebraska’s defense needs to play in order to have success per Evan Bland of the Omaha World-Herald.

Nebraska’s defense has been with one of the worst in the B1G so far this season. The Huskers are last in the conference in points allowed (35.5), total yards allowed (514), passing yards allowed (280), and rushing yards allowed (235) per game.

Busch stated that Nebraska needs to be more dominant in one phase of the game in order to turn things around.

“We have to at least be able to be dominant in one area of the game,” Busch said. “Right now if you look at the numbers that’s not been great as far as run defense and pass defense. We have to be able to determine a way to be able to be dominant in one phase of the game so we’ll work really, really hard at that.”

Will it be enough to beat Indiana, who is 3-1 through four games? Nebraska and Indiana kicks off Saturday at 7:30 p.m. ET on BTN.
