Brett Maher, Dallas Cowboys kicker, has pregame meeting with Jerry Jones after struggling in warmups
Brett Maher had a quick pregame meeting with Dallas Cowboys owner Jerry Jones prior to their playoff game vs. the 49ers on Sunday evening.
Maher, a Nebraska alum, missed 4 extra point attempts in Dallas’ win over Tampa Bay last weekend. The Cowboys won handily, but the performance still drew questions this week as the Cowboys prepared for San Francisco.
During pregame warmups, Maher was once again struggling according to multiple beat reporters at the stadium. That’s when Jones interrupted to have a conversation with Maher:
I’m sure Jerry Jones giving Brett Maher a pep talk will totally ease the pressure off him after he missed a few in warmups!!! pic.twitter.com/PPfkCdIyzQ

The Cowboys are underdogs in this game as they look to make their first NFC Championship Game appearance since the 1995-96 season.
