Cameron Lenhardt is a 4-star edge rusher currently at IMG Academy in Bradenton, Fla. The senior, who formerly played at Don Bosco Prep in New Jersey, is ranked by 247Sports as the No. 31 player at his position in the class of 2023.

All 3 of Lenhardt’s finalists were in the B1G: Michigan State, Nebraska, and Penn State. On Thursday, he announced that he would head to Lincoln to play for the Cornhuskers.

“The staff was great. The facilities were great…and logically with the depth chart, it’s perfect for me,” Lenhardt told 247Sports’ Andrew Ivins when asked why he chose Nebraska, while expressing confidence that the program would bounce back in 2022 after a host of close losses a season ago.

The 6-foot-3, 240-pounder also told Ivins that he would be in Lincoln for the Huskers’ game against Oklahoma on Sept. 17.
