Casey Thompson is trying to lead Nebraska past Indiana in Week 5, and he connected on a huge play with Trey Palmer early in the fourth quarter.

After an electric first half with 42 total points scored, both teams went scoreless in the third quarter of action. That included some interceptions exchanged between the two sides before moving to the fourth.

Then, Thompson and Palmer stepped up with the big play. Facing a 3rd-and-9 play, Nebraska’s offensive line provided a pocket for Thompson to step into his throw.

The protection was great and provided Palmer time to bet his man deep and over the top. Thompson’s throw was on the money with Palmer cruising to the end zone for six and a 28-21 lead for Nebraska.
