Cold take from book on Scott Frost’s hiring at Nebraska generates reaction on social media

Scott Frost’s tenure at Nebraska did not go well, that much is obvious. But, just how bad was it?
Well, one prediction had Frost winning multiple B1G titles during his time in Lincoln and competing for the College Football Playoff. It’s true.
In a post from Freezing Cold Takes on Twitter, the last page of the book “FROST: A Husker’s Journey Home” had the wild predictions. Written in 2018, the last page was titled “Spoiler alert: this is going to be fun.”
It went on to describe in detail how Nebraska would beat Ohio State during the 2021 season in an epic battle between Frost and Urban Meyer. It also predicted Nebraska would win a third B1G title under Frost in 2028 (a 35-14 win over Michigan) before waiting to hear about a potential Playoff bid.
Whether intentional satire or wild predictions, the resurfacing of the book drew a social media reaction after Frost’s firing:
I’m so embarrassed right now

So their best case scenario was Frost winning 3 big ten titles between 2018 and 2028?

@tomshatelOWH – can’t wait to read more of your 50 Shades of Red fan fiction here again soon! Instead of the Sunday comics, my family would instead read your column for a good laugh. Please never change.

There have been worse takes, but to put this much thought and effort into it…

I'd love to get my hands on this. Just the previews show me…https://t.co/JKqpLBm6NR pic.twitter.com/ELCFrvH9R2

This might be the most embarrassing fanfiction I’ve ever read, and I’ve seen plenty of Sonic and Harry Potter fanfic

Came a cross this book in a brewery in Omaha this summer, and thought about how sad it was going to be after this season… I hope that book is still there.
