Apparently, Colorado is not taking too kindly to Nebraska’s confidence heading into Saturday’s game.

As everyone remembers, last year’s contest was especially close and intense. That’s simply what makes rivalry games so special, but Scott Frost and Nebraska are definitely out for revenge this season.

There is always a little back-and-forth banter leading up to a rivalry, and this year is no different. However, it seems one Colorado player isn’t too appreciative of Nebraska’s side of it.

When discussing the upcoming game Tuesday evening, quarterback Steven Montez said that Nebraska is talking enough for both schools. He didn’t elaborate on his comment, shifting the focus to the anticipated atmosphere for the contest.

Brian Howell with Buff Zone shared Montez’s comments:

“They’re talking enough for both of us,” Buffs quarterback Steven Montez said…

“The stadium is going to be packed,” Montez said. “Highest revenue in the history of Colorado football. That’s huge; that’s big stuff. The atmosphere should be great and we’re just excited to get out there and play.”

The talking will be over soon enough with the game settled on the field. Kickoff for Saturday’s game is set for 3:30 pm EST on FOX.
