Colorado reportedly issues record number of media credentials for Nebraska game
Colorado’s Week 2 matchup with Nebraska is generating a record amount of media interest, according to a report.
Per Colorado insider Brian Howell, the program has issued more than 800 media credentials for Saturday’s edition of Nebraska-Colorado.
That number includes credentials for various Fox and Big Noon Kickoff employees. As Howell notes, the previous Folsom Field record was 616 credentials, which came back in 2001.

Last weekend, Colorado pulled off one of the biggest upsets of Week 1 with its road win over TCU. Now, Deion Sanders and co. are returning to Colorado for the Buffs’ home opener.
In addition to the increased interest around Colorado following Sanders’ hiring, this game was always likely to garner plenty of interest. This is just the 3rd time these programs have met since they left the Big 12 after the 2010 season.
Nebraska will be looking for its first win of the season on Saturday. The Huskers played a close game against Minnesota in Week 1, but faltered down the stretch.
Kickoff is at 12 p.m. ET on Saturday afternoon.
