Nebraska Cornhuskers sophomore running back Maurice Washington had the setting of his preliminary hearing date delayed again on Thursday.

According to Sam McKewon of the Omaha World-Herald, Washington’s attorney will next be in court on December 12 to attempt to set the hearing date:

Facing two charges, including one felony, Washington is accused of distributing a video featuring a 15-year-old girl engaging in oral sex.

Per California – where the case will be heard – authorities, Washington was not involved in the recording of the sexual act, which occurred in 2016.

Thursday was the fourth time the setting of the preliminary hearing date has been postponed. Originally attempted in June, Washington and his attorney also experienced postponements in July and September.

Appearing in all seven games for the 4-3 Cornhuskers, Washington has totaled 298 yards and one score on the ground, plus another 162 yards and two touchdowns receiving.

Thrashed by the No. 20 Minnesota Golden Gophers, 34-7, on October 12, Nebraska is off on Saturday.

The program will return to action vs. Indiana on October 26.
