College football fans and media members love Crawford’s commercial, with many calling it a positive example of NIL (name, image and likeness) opportunities. It’s also been pointed out that Crawford is able to make money despite currently being sidelined by injury.
The Decoldest Crawford air condition commercial is actually one of the best examples of NIL.
Lots of people missed that Crawford recently suffered a likely season-ending knee injury. But he still has value as a college athlete and can make money like this. https://t.co/yBrfagOjVG

I just hope SOS Heating and Cooling sees their business spike and pays Decoldest fairly for a long, mutual, wildly beneficial relationship. Congratulations to everyone involved.

An NIL match made in heaven.
Side note: Interesting that he has to say he plays for "Lincoln." https://t.co/xGHP4KsHYG

A Shreveport, Louisiana native, Crawford was a 3-star prospect out of Green Oaks High School in the class of 2022. On Oct. 28, 2019, Crawford pledged to LSU. In December 2021, Nebraska hired former LSU wide receivers coach Mickey Joseph. The Huskers extended a scholarship offer to Crawford on Dec. 7 and he decommitted from the Tigers. Crawford committed and signed with Nebraska on Dec. 17 during the Early Signing Period.
Crawford picked up 16 scholarship offers during his recruitment. He also considered Auburn, Florida and Texas before signing with Nebraska.
