After calling Nebraska’s embarrassing 56-14 blowout loss to Ohio State, defensive coordinator Bob Diaco called the Blackshirts performance “miserable.” The defense allowed eight straight touchdowns and 633 total yards.
During his Tuesday press conference, Diaco said his players still have room to grow, but that they’re starting to get a better understanding of his system. He expects the defense to show signs of improvement the remainder of the season.
