Oliver Martin will be on the third B1G roster of his college career.
Sean Callahan of HuskerOnline reported on Thursday that Martin, who played at Michigan in 2017-18 and Iowa in 2019, has transferred to Nebraska. He will be a walk-on wide receiver for the Cornhuskers and joins offensive lineman Ezra Miller, who also left Iowa City for Lincoln during the offseason.
Martin has two years of eligibility remaining and is currently listed as a student at Nebraska, per Callahan’s report.
Last season, Martin appeared in eight games for the Hawkeyes, totaling 5 catches for 28 yards and a touchdown. All of those receptions came within the first four games of the season. He was granted immediate eligibility by the NCAA after transferring from Michigan.
In his first season in Ann Arbor, Martin used a redshirt year in 2017. His role increased with the Wolverines the following year, as he totaled 11 receptions for 125 yards and a touchdown.
Martin is a former 4-star wide receiver.
