“At this time it is best for me to announce that I will be changing my commitment from Kansas State University and will be following a new path…” Stenger said. “I would like to announce my commitment to the University of Nebraska! I’m staying home.”
The versatile Stenger has played linebacker, running back, receiver and quarterback during his high school career. Stenger is envisioned as an insider linebacker at the college level, according to Rivals.
Nebraska is currently 3-4 this season. Last week, Nebraska was narrowly edged by No. 9 Michigan 32-29. Next up for Nebraska is a road matchup at Minnesota on Oct. 16 (12 p.m. EST/ESPN2).
