Former Nebraska offensive lineman Cam Jurgens is looking to make a splash at the NFL Combine. He’s off to a pretty strong start.

On Friday, the ex-Husker posted an impressive 4.91 unofficial time in the 40-yard dash. At the time of his attempt, it was the fastest recorded time among offensive lineman in the 2022 NFL Combine.

Below is the clip of Jurgens taking off in the 40-yard dash. His time will certainly get the attention of some scouts in attendance at Lucas Oil Stadium in Indianapolis:

We’ll see if Jurgens’ time stands as the fastest among offensive linemen throughout the day.

Jurgens was an anchor along Nebraska’s offensive line during his time in Lincoln. He started in 31 games over the last three seasons. He missed just one contest because of injury, a 2020 matchup against Northwestern.

Jurgens started all 31 games at the center position for the Huskers. He’s looking to improve his draft stock this week in Indianapolis as the 2022 NFL Draft approaches.
