Gerry was selected by the Eagles in the fifth-round of the 2017 NFL Draft. He hasn’t seen any regular season action yet this year.
Gerry had a prolific career while at Nebraska from 2013-2016. He recorded 273 total tackles and 19 tackles for loss while in Lincoln. He was a second-team All-American by USA Today in 2016 and was a first-team All-American selection by Pro Football Focus.
The Eagles are currently 5-1 on the season. They’re scheduled to play the Washington Redskins on Monday Night Football.
