As the Kentucky Wildcats finished off their rivals the Louisville Cardinals 52-21 Saturday, wide receiver Wan’Dale Robinson set a single-season mark for the Wildcats.

The former Nebraska wide receiver this season had 1,178 yards receiving and 7 touchdowns on 94 receptions. The catch total was a new single-season record for Kentucky.

Robinson was part of the reason for Kentucky’s resurgence this year and why they contended for the SEC East before falling to the Georgia Bulldogs in the middle of the season.

Still, the Wildcats finished the season with a 9-3 record, finishing second in the SEC East, and are still in contention to head to a New Year’s 6 Bowl game.
