Former Nebraska wide receiver Stanley Morgan didn’t hear his named called in Nashville over the weekend, but he’ll still get his shot at the NFL.

According to Parker Gabriel of Husker Extra, Morgan has signed a free agent deal with the Cincinnati Bengals. He will have the opportunity to prove he belongs on an NFL roster in the coming months.

Morgan was one of the four-best receivers in the B1G statistically last season and has been one of the top five producers in the conference each of the last two years. In 2018, Morgan ended with 1,004 yards and seven touchdowns to lead the Huskers.

In 2017, Morgan was the B1G’s second-leading receiver with 986 yards and 10 touchdowns on 61 catches. He ended his career with the Huskers with 2,747 yards and 22 touchdowns on 189 receptions.

Now, Morgan will get the chance that he’s an NFL-caliber receiver with the Bengals.
