The next fastest receivers were Derius Davis (TCU) at 4.36 and Matt Landers (Arkansas) at 4.37.
Palmer’s NFL Draft outlook
Palmer hasn’t been getting a lot of NFL Draft buzz. His showing at the NFL Combine can only help with that, but he’s probably still a “sleeper” heading into the draft.
Mike Garafolo of the NFL Network noted Sunday that Palmer similarly displayed his impressive speed on the practice field in pads at the Senior Bowl in Mobile.
Nebraska WR Trey Palmer’s 4.33 40 from the Combine … but with pads, a ball and a defender. Fastest offensive player in Mobile. Fastest receiver in Indy. He’s put his skills on display for scouts the last month or so. https://t.co/lw7hd9lHwo

Palmer finished his college career by entering the Nebraska record book with a 71-catch season for 1,043 yards. Huskers fans hope that Palmer will get a good opportunity to show what he can do in the pros.
