Former Texas A&M RB is heading to Nebraska via transfer
Texas A&M’s Deondre Jackson hit the transfer portal on Friday. It looks like he has already found a new team, too.
After appearing in just 3 games for the Aggies, Jackson announced from his Twitter account on Tuesday that he is now committed to Nebraska for the 2022 season. Jackson will still have at least 3 years of eligibility since he was a redshirt freshman this season.
Jackson originally committed to Texas A&M in June of 2019. He was a 3-star recruit from Stephenson High School in Stone Mountain, Georgia per the 247Sports Composite.

Jackson will be joining Former Texas QB Casey Thompson and Former LSU WR Trey Palmer in Lincoln as they head over to play for Scott Frost.
The Cornhuskers sure do know how to work the transfer portal, that’s for sure.
