With Deontai Williams remaining out after an injury he suffered against Minnesota, Nebraska freshman Myles Farmer will need to make his second start against Ohio State.

Farmer played a career-high 85 snaps last weekend against Purdue and was given his Blackshirt this week.

Farmer missed last season suffering a freak accident prior to the Huskers game with Purdue. Before the game even started, Farmer went down awkwardly on a bad patch of Purdue’s turf. Trainers put an air cast around his leg, and he was carted off to a waiting ambulance and underwent season-ending surgery not long after.

The Nebraska secondary will be up against arguably the best wide receiver tandems in the country when they square off against the Buckeyes. Garrett Wilson and Chris Olave rank second and sixth in the B1G in receiving yards, respectively.

The Huskers host the Buckeyes on Saturday, Nov. 6 at 11:00 AM on FOX in Lincoln, Neb. at Memorial Stadium.
