Nebraska is coming off a loss to No.4 Oklahoma in the renewed rivalry where the final score was 23-16.

In a game where many people thought the Huskers would be outmatched, they hung tough with one of their bitter rivals in the 5oth anniversary of the Game of the Century.

One player for the Huskers has finally started to make his mark for the team. WR Omar Manning.

Omar Manning was the no.1 JUCO WR coming out of the 2020 class No.2 in the nation and No.1 in the state of Texas, according to 247sports Composite Rankings.

Manning against OU had 2 receptions for 52 yards and a touchdown catch in the loss to the Sooners.

The Huskers are 2-2 with wins against Buffalo and Fordham; their losses are to Illinois and No.4 Oklahoma.

The road does not get any easier for the Huskers as they travel to East Lansing, MI., this week to take newly ranked No.20 Michigan State.
