Kirk Herbstreit offers up high praise for Scott Frost's atypical coaching method
Some Nebraska fans still might not be crazy about Kirk Hersbtreit after he and the College GameDay crew appeared to take a jab at the program during its undefeated start in 2016.
And while Herbstreit later cleared up some of the misunderstanding surrounding his comment, there’s still probably a few people who think the ESPN college football analyst has something against Nebraska.
If he does, Herbstreit’s latest take didn’t suggest that.
On Wednesday, new Nebraska coach Scott Frost revealed that he doesn’t curse or yell at players when they make a mistake:
"No fear of failure"-This is a great quote from Coach Frost on teaching his players by not yelling at them or cussing at them. #Huskers pic.twitter.com/GgeTJuUMil

On Thursday morning, Herbstreit offered up praise for Frost’s nuanced approach to discipline:
Love this approach from a guy who’s played the game at the highest level and gets what goes through players minds. Freeing them up. Love it!! Great message. https://t.co/Pbf5qwQBdX

Herbstreit’s got a point. Frost has played and coached at the highest level having taken part in national championships as a player and coach.
If the mild-mannered Frost leads Nebraska back to national prominence, surely that won’t be the last positive comment that Herbstreit throws his way.
