The NFL Draft is always full of special moments. Friday night was no exception.

Nebraska defensive back Cam Taylor-Britt was selected in the second round of the 2022 NFL Draft, going No. 60 overall to the Cincinnati Bengals. He was the second Husker off the board, behind center Cam Jurgens.

Shortly after Taylor-Britt was officially selected by Cincinnati, the Bengals organization posted the video of the defensive back’s phone call with head coach Zac Taylor. It shows just what this weekend is all about for these players.

Below is the moment Taylor-Britt found out and his reaction to learning the news:

Taylor-Britt was a key piece to Nebraska’s secondary last season. He accounted for 51 tackles, 11 pass break-ups and 11 interceptions during his final season in Lincoln. Over the course of his career, the defensive back racked up 140 stops, 22 pass break-ups and 5 picks.

These are the moments that make the NFL Draft so special. It’s awesome to see Taylor-Britt watch his dreams become reality.
