Nebraska looked like it was going to pull off a major upset this past week against Michigan State.

But then, the special teams struck again.

Michigan State’s Jayden Reed ran back a punt with 3:47 left to tie the game up at 20 — a play that swung the momentum the Spartans’ way. Nebraska ended up losing 23-20 in overtime, but it wasn’t for a lack of effort.

Cornhuskers coach Scott Frost addressed the punt return in his weekly press conference Monday and looked ahead to this week’s home matchup with Northwestern. He also discussed the offensive line, which might see some changes this week.
