Huge gain by Luke McCaffrey helps Nebraska race out to hot start vs OSU

Nebraska is off and running in the season opener against Ohio State!
Entering the game as huge underdogs to the Buckeyes, the Cornhuskers did not waste any time making a statement. Nebraska received the opening kickoff and marched right down the field for a quick touchdown to start the scoring.
The big play of the drive came courtesy of freshman quarterback Luke McCaffrey. With a nice wrinkle on the the play, McCaffrey started as the deep back in the backfield and took a handoff from Adrian Martinez.
He gashed the Ohio State defense going deep into Buckeye territory:

Martinez fished the drive off with a short touchdown run for the 7-0 lead:
