Nebraska schedules more games with old rival Oklahoma
Nebraska fans have something to look forward to for the next 13 years.
The Huskers had already scheduled showdowns with old Big 12/Big Eight rival Oklahoma for 2021 and 2022. On Wednesday, the team announced that it’ll be continuing the rivalry even further down the road.
Nebraska will travel to Norman on Sept. 15, 2029 and Oklahoma will come to Lincoln on Sept. 14, 2030. The school also announced two future non-conference meetings with Arizona, which will mark their first battle since the teams tied in 1961.

The former conference rivals haven’t faced each other since Nebraska fell to Oklahoma in the 2010 Big 12 Championship game. Oklahoma leads the all-time series 45-38-3, which dates all the way back to 1912.
It’ll mark two more chances for the Huskers to get back to their Big Eight roots. They also have four future games with old conference foe Colorado lined up.
If the Memorial Stadium sellout streak is still alive in 2030, you can guarantee it’ll last through the showdown in Lincoln.
