Nebraska has a 2-touchdown lead on Purdue after an impressive touchdown catch from Jaylen Lloyd.

The Cornhuskers took a 7-0 lead early in the second quarter on a touchdown pass from Heinrich Haarberg to Thomas Fidone. Looking to answer back, Purdue threw away an interception, giving Nebraska a chance to take a big lead early. The Cornhuskers did exactly that as Haarberg aired it out to Lloyd, who took it into the endzone for a 73-yard touchdown reception.

The touchdown was the first of Lloyd’s career, and it came in just about the most impressive way possible.

Now the Cornhuskers lead Purdue 14-0, and they’re looking to pile onto their lead. Nebraska is coming off back-to-back wins over Northwestern and Illinois and they’re looking to make it 3 on Saturday.
