Nebraska is on the board against Iowa after a huge play from Jaylen Lloyd.

After Nebraska fumbled and allowed a field goal, the Cornhuskers were looking to take away Iowa’s momentum. They were threatening to go 3 and out after a sack and a run for no gain, but then Lloyd torched Iowa’s defense and Chubba Purdy found him deep for a 66-yard touchdown to give Nebraska its first points of the game.

Before the play, Nebraska had recorded just 43 yards on 15 plays. The 66-yard play was the most yards in one play Iowa has given up this season.

Now Nebraska is looking to get a stop on defense and try to either tie or take the lead before halftime. Iowa is looking to build its lead before the end of the half.
