JoJo Domann did not get drafted coming out of Nebraska in the 2022 NFL Draft. But after getting picked up as a free agent, Domann survived the final round of roster cuts on Tuesday.
When the opening day rosters were finalized, the Indianapolis Colts included Domann on the final 53-man roster entering the Week 1 season opener. Domann made the roster as 1 of 6 linebackers for the Colts.

During his college career, Domann made the transition from defensive back to linebacker for the Huskers. In the process, he turned into a versatile defender for Nebraska with range and the ability to hit and make tackles near the line of scrimmage.
In 2021, Domann had 71 tackles, 9 TFL, 2 interceptions and 2 pass breakups in 10 games before a season-ending injury. That injury could have impacted his overall status for the draft but hasn’t impacted his play in the preseason.
Now, Domann will try and carve out a playing time role with the Colts.
