Key Nebraska LB not expected to play against Iowa in Week 13
It looks like Nebraska may be without LB Luke Reimer in Week 13. Omaha World-Herald’s Evan Bland reported that Reimer was not seen at warmups ahead of the Iowa game.
Reimer played in Nebraska’s last game against Wisconsin in Week 12. Reimer has played in 10 games for the Huskers this season. He has 86 total tackles, 3.5 tackles for loss, 1 sack, and 1 interception from the games he’s played in.
Nebraska could really miss Reimer’s contributions, especially on the tackling side. Reimer leads the team in tackles and has been a reliable option for the Huskers this year.
Looks like the #Huskers aren’t expecting ILB and leading tackler Luke Reimer to play today. Defender isn’t suited for the earl part of warmups.

Regardless of Reimer playing in the game, Nebraska can still play the spoiler against Iowa. With a win over the Huskers, the Hawkeyes can clinch B1G West. A loss would open the door for Purdue to claim the division title.
This game has plenty on the line. Kickoff from Kinnick Stadium is set for Friday at 4 p.m. ET on BTN.
