Kirk Herbstreit discusses Nebraska via Twitter
In case you missed it, No. 7 Nebraska walked into its matchup against No. 11 Wisconsin unbeaten at 7-0.
By the time the game was over, the Cornhuskers were 7-1.
The contest was more than just a close one, as it took Wisconsin an overtime period to defeat Nebraska at home, 23-17. Losing to the No. 11 team in the country in overtime on the road can’t hurt your ranking too severely, can it?
ESPN’s Kirk Herbstreit took to Twitter late last night (early this morning) to discuss his thoughts on the Huskers.
More impressed with Nebraska tonight despite their loss. Great effort going to OT in Madison. Shouldn't drop in polls in my opinion. https://t.co/3wbpArBZdV

I think they stay in the top 10. Hard to lose ground with that performance on the road coupled with so many other losses. Top 10 https://t.co/IsSLSYBr9U

Quite the contrary https://t.co/CBgE1PdXrH

The Cornhuskers showed resiliency in its biggest game of the season last night, and with that, shouldn’t slide down in the polls very far.
