Kyle McCord is reportedly keeping his recruitment open after taking a visit with Nebraska, per On3 Sports’ Pete Nakos.

McCord was on campus in Lincoln on Monday and multiple sources told Nakos that the former Ohio State quarterback is keeping his options open and looking at another batch of schools. It was reported that McCord and Julian Fleming would both be visiting Nebraska.

The former Buckeye QB decided to hit the portal after spending the last 3 seasons in Columbus. This season was the 1st year that McCord was the full-time starter. He appeared in 24 games and accounted for 3,776 yards passing with 27 touchdowns during his time with the Buckeyes.

Nebraska will reportedly have another big target on campus this weekend. Dylan Raiola, who is the son of Nebraska great Dominic Raiola, will be taking a visit. Raiola is a 5-star QB in the 2024 class who is currently committed to Georgia.

The Huskers recently lost some depth at QB with Jeff Sims to the portal as he re-entered on Dec. 6.
