Matt Rhule sure can deliver some incredible locker room speeches.

Rhule gave an inspiring speech via GBRewind on YouTube. He wanted to emphasize how important it was to recognize all those who have gone through breast cancer.

The pink ribbon on the back of Nebraska’s helmets is a way to honor those who have sacrificed and fought. Someone helped the players get to where they are. No one plays college football without someone sacrificing their time or efforts.

Regardless of which fan you’re a team of, this will have you ready to run through a wall.

“As you walk out this tunnel men, we have a pink ribbon on the back of our helmets. That’s for all the wives, the moms, the sisters that have been affected by breast cancer,” said Rhule. “It’s even greater than that. It’s a way for us to honor the people in our lives who have fought for us. Because ain’t no one of us here of our own accord. Picking you up, taking you to school, fighting for you. Maybe keeping you away from the hard things in your life. She took it on so that you could just be a kid. They were warriors for you.”

October may be over, but breast cancer is still affecting plenty of people. Rhule understands the importance of spreading that message.
