Matt Rhule is reportedly targeting another coach to join his staff at Nebraska. The latest target was reported on by FootballScoop’s Zach Barnett.

Rhule is reportedly going after Texas high school coach Bob Wager. Wager coaches at Arlington Martin High School. There is no news about what exactly Wager’s role at Nebraska would be if he decides to join.

To get an idea of how dominant Wager has been in Texas, his football team has not missed the playoffs in 17 seasons. While it’s at the high school level, that kind of consistent success is worth noting.

There have been some recent additions to the Nebraska coaching staff. Former South Carolina OC Marcus Satterfield will be OC and TEs coach for the Huskers, while former Syracuse DC Tony White will be in the same role on Rhule’s staff. Donovan Raiola will be retaining his role as the OL coach.

Stay tuned for more updates on what Wager’s role will be at Nebraska if the move happens.
