“Dylan is ready to go,” Rhule said. “He had a great week of practice.”
The Cornhuskers got off to a 5-1 start on the season, but have lost their last 3 games including their most recent at home against UCLA.
During the first 6 games, Raiola had thrown 9 touchdowns and 3 interceptions. However, during this losing streak, he has thrown only 1 touchdown compared to 5 interceptions. This will be the first game with Dana Holgorsen at the offensive coordinator, as Rhule made that announcement earlier in the week
The Cornhuskers enter this game at 5-4, and have to win 1 of their final 3 games to get to a bowl. Nebraska ends the season with games against Wisconsin and Iowa.
USC is also in a situation where it needs to win if it wants to go to a bowl, as the Trojans are 4-5 and have lost 4 of their last 5 games.
Kickoff for the game against USC is scheduled for 4 p.m. ET and the game will be aired on FOX.
