McKenzie Milton, former UCF QB, defends Scott Frost following firing at Nebraska
McKenzie Milton knows all about playing for Scott Frost. The former quarterback at UCF and later at Florida State took to Twitter to address the news of Sunday’s firing by Nebraska.
Milton addressed being “bummed” things didn’t pan out in Lincoln for Frost, but he did defend Frost’s work as a coach. Milton called Frost the “best offensive mind and coach I had the pleasure to learn from.”
Milton also said wherever Frost lands “will be lucky to have” Frost.
Wherever Scott Frost lands that University will be lucky to have him. Bummed it didn’t work out for him at Nebraska but let’s not be quick to forget what he did at Oregon & UCF. Best offensive mind & coach I had the pleasure to learn from 💯

Milton played for Frost during his time at UCF from 2016-17. He was Frost’s starting quarterback during the undefeated 2017 campaign for UCF while throwing for over 4,000 yards with over 40 offensive touchdowns.
We’ll see where Frost lands in the future.
