William Przystup has found a new home but he’ll continue to punt in the B1G.
On Monday morning, the Michigan State punter announced his decision to transfer to Nebraska to complete his college career. He sent out a message via Twitter.
“Excited and honored to announce my transfer to the University of Nebraska,” Przystup wrote. “Blessed to become part of [Nebraska football] and this talented program. Go Big Red!”
Przystup is a native of Oviedo, Florida, just outside of Orlando. He was a member of Michigan State’s 2018 recruiting class as a walk-on and had immediate responsibilities as the Spartans battled with injuries at the position throughout the season.
His debut came on Nov. 10 when Michigan State hosted Ohio State. in the game, Przystup had a punt travel 52 yards. He played in the final four games of the year for the Spartans, averaging 40.6 yards per attempt on 27 punts.
