Mickey Joseph had to deliver some bad news about one of his players on Tuesday. Myles Farmer has been suspended for the Michigan game after a DUI arrest per Omaha World-Herald’s Evan Bland.

Joseph addressed the suspension via a statement Tuesday morning. Joseph also said he learned about the arrest on Sunday morning.

“I was informed on Sunday morning of an incident involving Myles Farmer this weekend,” Joseph said. “Myles is a good young man, but understands he used poor judgement and made a mistake on Saturday night. The result of poor judgement and mistakes is consequences and discipline.”

Farmer has played in 30 career games for Nebraska with 101 total tackles, 1.5 tackles for loss, 4 interceptions, 1 forced fumble, and 1 fumble recovery.

It’s unclear as to whether or not Farmer’s suspension will be more than one game at this point.

Nebraska and Michigan are set for a 3:30 p.m. ET kickoff this Saturday. The game is going to be shown on ABC.
